Apple returns

Apple is a multinational technology company. It designs, develops, and sells smartphones, smartwatches, computers, and other consumer electronics, online services, and computer software. It is one of the five top-rated technology companies. Apple products include the iPhone, Mac, iPad, iPod, apple watch, AirPods, AirPort, Apple TV, Apple Displays, HomePod, and Beats. Apple does offer returns on purchased items, here are the details of the same.

Apple returns policy:

Apple has a standard returns policy according to that to return a product purchased from the Apple store you can send an intent to return to the company anytime before 14 days from the date you acquired physical possession of the product. A clear expression of product intent to return must be notified to the company by email, phone, or submitting a form online on Appleā€™s official website.

Certain items like electronic software, subscriptions to the Software Up-to-Date Programme, iTunes Gift Cards, other apple developer products cannot be returned. Customized services like gift packing cannot be canceled after the service is performed. Sealed software that has been unsealed after computer delivery will also not have any returns.

Apple returns:

The process of returns is systematic and a complete refund is available. Firstly, the product has to be returned with the original receipt, original packaging, and other accessories which were along with the main product. After notifying a return, you have a further 14 days to return your products or arrange for their collection. Apple takes around 5-7 working days for the refund to reach your account.

The same procedure is applicable for returning items in online stores as well. In online returns, once the pick up of the product or, if the customer is delivering the product to the carrier, we receive the product or proof that it has been shipped. A refund will be arranged based on the original payment method within 14 days.

The products can be returned to an Apple Retail Store as well but, this must be a retail store within the UK. They have few more restrictions like the refund or exchange will happen only if; the product is returned with the original package along with its accessories. The sealed software which has been opened, media, and memory cannot be refunded. Customized products will neither be exchanged nor accepted for a refund.
