The Youth Hostels Association is a charitable organization that provides youth with comfortable hostel accommodations. They are present on almost all continents and have a significant reputation.
With almost nine decades of experience, the brand provides the best youth hostels in the country. Besides having the best booking procedures, the organization also has a strict process for cancellations.
If you have booked your stay with the YHA but have to cancel it, you can follow the cancellation procedure. Dive right in to find out the YHA cancellation policy.
YHA Cancellation Process
The YHA cancellation and refund policy govern all your bookings with the company. However, it is essential to cover your bookings through appropriate travel insurance.
All refunds are calculated based on the time of cancellation and the time span between the cancellation notification sent to the company and the time of the arrival at the Hostel. The organisation counts the first-night stay at 12 pm on the arrival date.
You can cancel through their official website for Family and Individual bookings: https://www.yha.org.uk/cancel-booking. If it’s before 48 hours, you will have to call the Hostel directly to cancel.
