Argos returns

Argos has around 1000 branches all over the UK and in order to keep the customers happy they accept returns of items that are defected or even in cases the customers change their minds, however, some rules and conditions may apply.


Argos returns policy:

Jewelry, pierced items, and underwear are not applicable for return and refund due to their nature. Also in the case of returning DVDs, they must be placed in their original packaging. Items with damaged packaging will not be applicable for a full refund.

Faulty items can be returned and refunded by any standalone Argos store. When returning an item, proof of purchase and item serial number may be required, so make sure you include them in the packaging. Items are eligible for a refund if returned within 30 days of their purchase.

Argos returns:

In order to return any items that have been delivered to you by Argos home delivery, you can either return it to an Argos in Sainsbury’s or call Argos to arrange a pickup at 0345 640 2020 or simply return it by post (instructions on delivery receipt). Also, in case you have collected your item from an Argos store (not home delivery), you can return it to an Argos in Sainsbury’s and request a refund.  Refunds usually take 5 working days. For more information regarding bulky items, you can visit their helpcenter.

  • Was told today by Argos Northwich that I couldn’t return a faulty item in store and could only contact the manufacturer which goes against their policy and the law.

    Awful customer service.

  • In late spring of this year I purchased an HP17.3 in AMD A6 4GB 1TB laptop. However, it has performed very slowly from the outset, taking up to 20 minutes from turning on the machine to accessing an application. Closing a single application also takes a considerable amount of time and it is virtually impossible to open more than one application at a time, rendering the machinve virtually useless. Unfortunatly, I do not possess proof of purchase. Would I be able to return the item? Thank you.
