Though you can return a majority of the products within 30 days of the purchase the following merchandise is an exception to this policy.

You can’t return gift cards, personalized items, items that deteriorate or expire rapidly, and items that are sealed for hygiene reasons.

All other items can be returned. For return of the products bought from Tesco Store, you have to return it within 30 days in the original store. And if you have shopped from Tesco Express or Super Tesco Store, then you can return the goods in any of the Tesco Stores.

For the goods bought online, you have to send your goods to Tesco within 30 days of the purchase for a refund/exchange. Finally, if you want to return a faulty or defective item then Tesco is responsible for arranging for a full refund and the shipping charges.

The process of return is very easy. You can return or exchange goods in any of its stores within 30 days of the purchase (for goods shopped in-store only). This return is instant and you will get the refund as soon as you visit the store with your order and proof of purchase.

However, if you have bought from its website and want to return the full order then simply repack your goods carefully and place your valid proof of purchase in the parcel. Remember to use any recorded courier service for sending your goods and retain your shipping record till the final refund. Once your parcel arrives at the warehouse you will be notified via email and your refund will be credited as per your original payment method.

    My husband brought me a pack of underwear unfortunately I didn’t like style wanted to exchange had receipt but they wouldn’t wanted to no what company policy was !!

    I bought a coat in October 2021 I had it 3 months and it started coming away at the seams not the stitching the material was ripping the coat wasn’t tight on me as I’m a small build I took it back they offered me £10 (the coat cost me £38) I said no I want my money back the coat is faulty she said its gone past the 100 day return I said a coat should last longer than 3 months she said OK I will let you have another coat I couldn’t fine one I like can I get something else she said no a coat for a coat so now I am stuck with a coat I don’t like bad customer service if you ask me

    can i exchange a jumper my daughter purchased from tesco for a christmas present that does not fit me but i do not have the receipt obviously as it was a gift and i just want to change it for a smaller size!
